A Quick Guide on the HardiePanel™ Line

The name James Hardie® is well-known across the roofing and siding industry as one of the top manufacturers in the country that offers a wide variety of quality products for their customers. One of these product lines is the HardiePanel™ line which features a great variety of vertical siding products made of compressed fiber cement sheet. These products are known for their durability since they do not crack, chip, or delaminate.

In today’s post, Precision #1 Contractors Inc., the top roofing contractor, gives you a quick rundown on the James Hardie HardiePanel line.

HardiePanel Compressed Sheet

HardiePanel compressed sheet is mainly applied over timber or lightweight steel joists. They can also be applied as substrates for tiled balconies or tiled internal wet-area floors. HardiePanel is a great alternative to contemporary products such as plywood and particleboard since it’s highly resistant to moisture and exterior damage.

Thanks to its durability and versatility, numerous siding and roofers prefer it over other materials since it can also be used for industrial and commercial applications, such as roads and bridges. It’s also a safe material since it’s non-combustible, which makes it a prime option for hot areas and places prone to wildfires.

HardiePanel Vertical Siding

Another product from the HardiePanel product line is the vertical siding which is available in four styles, namely; Select Cedarmill©, Sierra, Smooth, and Stucco. Both Select Cedarmill and Smooth styles come in 15 different colors, giving you a great degree of flexibility. Also, all styles come with James Hardie’s patent ColorPlus® Technology that lets your paint last for many years to come. All of these products come primed so that they’re ready for field painting. Regardless of your home’s style, or how you’ll apply it, you’ll definitely find the right HardiePanel product to fit your needs.
